Do you realise just how special your wedding day will be? How unlikely it is that you’ll ever have all your guests together in the same place at the same time again? That the video and photographs will be the only tangible memories you will have to look back on? While good photos are nice to look at, a great video captures the whole atmosphere of the day, all the people, their mannerisms, the sights and the sounds, the laughter and the tears that only a wedding day brings. So choosing the right video company to film your special day is vitally important, and we’d like to tell you why we believe you should be putting your trust in us.

Firstly, and most importantly, we NEVER sub-contract out our work, (although with all the enquiries we have it is often tempting!) We offer all our clients a totally exclusive service, only ever taking one booking per date. That way, if you like what you’ve seen, you know that you’ll get the same excellent standard on your film. Many video companies take bookings, and then farm out work. Some are good, some not - it’s like a lottery - beware!

A video shouldn’t just be a collection of stills; it should capture the true atmosphere of the day. So while your photographer’s getting the posed shots, we’ll be looking for those magical natural moments. We’ll also chat to you and your guests to get comments from the important people, making sure your film is interactive and personal - a real record to treasure forever.

We start filming at the wedding venue half an hour before the service, so the first shot should be the groom arriving and looking happy! Then it’s the build up & excitement as the guests turn up, culminating in the arrival of the bride. If it’s a church service, we film all the major highlights. Let us know when your rehearsal is so we can come along and meet your vicar. It shows them we are professional (vicars hate the ‘Uncle George’ camcorder brigade, who can disrupt services), and more importantly, it usually means we get the best filming spot. Our TV Broadcast Digital DVCam Camera has a fantastic zoom lens, and by miking up the groom, the service & vows come out crystal clear! We also have total control of all the camera functions, so you’ll never get those silhouetted pictures or fuzzy edges that cheaper camcorders can give. Whatever the conditions, we’ll always produce the best quality pictures available. We carry spares of everything - including cameras, so although nothing can ever be guaranteed 100%, it means the chance of a disaster is minimal. Low light situations also come out great, which means no off-putting bright lights blinding people, and the DJ’s lights are usually bright enough to give us a superb atmospheric party film.

So why do we have professional television equipment rather than standard camcorders that most wedding video companies offer? It’s because we run a successful production company, filming for television & major clients. However, we started the business filming weddings thirteen years ago, and enjoy the buzz and excitement of getting things perfect on the first take (you can’t ask a vicar to re-start a service!) So we take on a select number of weddings every year, and because we only film nice people, all our videos come out looking wonderful!

We take pride in getting the edit perfect, using all our TV expertise, mixing in your favourite music with the atmosphere of the day, applying the ‘so what’ factor to make your film interesting (we’ll never film the same person doing the same thing three times just to pad out a film). We have a great memory for faces and that means every guest usually gets into the film.
